CEE 6900 (Special Problems): Functionally Graded Pavements (Fall 2009
Prerequisites: Graduate student standing and permission from instructor
Project Description: · To assess the effectiveness of discrete layered grading of concrete for pavements. · To determine flexural mechanical properties (i.e., flexural strength and toughness) of FGM. · To evaluate the use of high performance and fiber reinforced concrete graded layers as base or top layers.
