I study the behavioral and evolutionary ecology of terrestrial invertebrates, focusing (as you might guess from the pictures on this site!) on arachnids, in particular scorpions and spiders.
I teach the following undergraduate courses: General Biology II for non-majors (Spring semester); General Ecology (Fall semester); Entomology (Spring semester of odd-numbered years); and Animal Behavior (Spring semester of even-numbered years). Follow the Course Information link above for more details. I also teach several graduate courses, including Population and Community Ecology and (for Fall 2006) Evolutionary Biology.
PROSPECTIVE RESEARCH STUDENTS (GRADUATES OR UNDERGRADUATES)
Please see the Research link above for a more complete description of my research interests. Potential funding opportunities, if any, are available there as well.
