Gene Mullins received a B.S.-Chemistry in 1979 and a M.S.-Chemistry in 2007, both from Tennessee Tech University. He worked for Fleetguard, Inc. from 1979 to 2004. His responsibilities there included research and development in elastomers, polymers, filtration media, and instrumental analysis of engine fluids and filter materials. Gene races the red/white MGB on the right side of the photograph (with his wifely pit crew standing by the windshield.) Gene is also a "Lab" coordinator at home.
