Margarita Orozco Ramirez

Margarita is an internationally exhibiting artist. Her unusual paper is made from local flora and often incorporates fauna and found objects. Besides teaching and maintaining a papermaking studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, she also teaches papermaking at the University of Guanajuato.

Fibers are rinsed every day in her studio.

Screens are made from plastic shopping bags, wood, and duct tape.
