Eligibility

A student may attempt the challenge test for a DSP mathematics course for which he/she has never received a grade (of any type).  The student must be enrolled in the course that matches the exam that is being taken.  This is a timed (25 minutes) open response (pencil and paper)  25 items test.  It is similar to a final exam for the course, thus prior preparation is recommended.

A student who successfully challenges the course will then move up to the next level or into a regular math class.  This is the reason that the test is given the first day of class.

Schedule, Spring, 2009

Challenge Test date and time

1-Thursday, January 15, 2009,  during first MONDAY class
2-Tuesday, January 20, 2009,  during first class

Be sure to show up on the first day of class or you lose the chance to challenge the course.  You must bring a photo id.  Calculators are not allowed on the test.
