WEATHER and CLIMATE is an introduction to the processes that govern everyday weather as well as the patterns produced by long-term climate.  Topics covered in the course include the following:

  • Earth-Sun relationships (Solstices and Equinoxes)

  • Temperature patterns

  • Atmospheric pressure and winds

  • Precipitation processes

  • Thunderstorms

  • Tornadoes

  • Hurricanes
