HYDROGEOLOGY is the science that deals with the interaction of water with geologic materials.  This course is designed to give students experience with various methods for measuring and analyzing both surface and groundwater flow in both lab and field settings.  Topics covered in this course include the following:

• Water budgets and the hydrologic cycle

• Open channel flow hydrology

• Watershed-scale hydrology

• Aquifer materials

• Groundwater flow

• Wells and well testing

• Groundwater modeling
