Welcome to the Tennessee Technological University Herbarium Web site. The Paul Hollister Herbarium is a systematic collection of nearly 10,000 dried, pressed, and preserved plant specimens. The herbarium is the fourth largest in the state of Tennessee. The herbarium specimens serve as a reference library on historical distribution, habitats, and timing of flowering and/or fruit production. The collection's voucher specimens serve to verify plant identification worldwide. Most of the plants held in the herbarium are  from eastern Tennessee, but the herbarium also contains specimens from around the world.
