Online Evaluations
If you teach a class on the web and do not meet the students in a classroom, the course can be evaluated using the IDEA online evaluation system. We do not recommend using this system for classes that use web-assisted instruction since the student response rate is lower than if the evaluation forms are distributed in class. Please allow 2 weeks for your request to be processed.
The evaluation is identical to the paper and pencil version and the results are distributed the same way.
To use the IDEA online evaluation system you will need to supply the following information:
Identify your department
Identify the course using SIS format (e.g., BIOL 1010 001 , 01F).
Specify whether you want to use the Long or Short form.
Provide the course name.
Specify the number of students enrolled.
Provide your campus email address and website address (for the course).
Whether you currently have tenure at TTU
You will receive a unique weblink to post on your website and a link to complete a faculty information form. When students click on the link they will be asked to sign on with their TTU student ID. If students are enrolled in a RODP course they will sign in using their webct ID.
