Artist's Statement My work represents an ongoing visual journal of my travels throughout the North American landscape. The fabric and paper pieces I create are a re-visiting, not so much of a place, but of the experience of that place. They provide a reminder of a need to slow down, see beyond the surface into the depths of movement and time. They encourage us to be still long enough to revel in what is before us. My mixed media drawings most recently speak of the human condition; maladies we suffer from, as a result of inattention to the wholeness of life. ²
