Tech Teaching Resources

(FOED 3010)

 

Directions:

You will be creating an individual Tech Teaching Resources file.
The file will consist of 8 activities/lessons that are standards-based,
but technologically enhanced through one or more of the iLife applications:
(iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, iTunes, Garageband).

The lessons do not have to follow a strict model format (ASSURE, TIMS, etc),
but will need to meet minimum specifications:

  • Introduction
  • Objectives
  • Instruction
  • Closure/Evaluation

Project Specs:

  • You should have a total of 8 files in Word or Excel format
  • All sources (i.e: iLife lesson address) should be referenced in activity/lesson
  • Each activity/lesson will include a minimum of 1 iLife application
  • Each actvitiy lesson must reference a standard from the Tennessee State Curriculum Standards
  • Project is to be turned in organized in folders by subject area
  • You must create/adapt a lesson/activity for at least 4 subjects:
    • English/Language Arts
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Social Studies

Examples that recieved full credit: Chasing Metaphors (doc) / Energizing Chemistry (doc)

The project will be graded using a rubric created specifically for this activity.

The Apple Learning Interchange (ALI) is a good starting point.
