Designed software in C for graphical display of numerical simulations. Performed hardware/software research and integration on an experimental parallel multi-processor computer system "SPOCK II".

Taught undergraduate courses in computer arithmetic algorithms and hardware. Designed hardware and software for an experimental parallel multi-processor system.

Senior Design Engineer (1980 - 1985)
SCI Systems, Huntsville, AL

Developed architecture and supervised design of intelligent front-end communications processor system for use in commercial minicomputer. Designed several microprocessor-based industrial control systems. Taught industrial courses in microprocessor hardware/software. Wrote proposals and final documentation.

Member of Technical Staff (1973 - 1980)
Texas Instruments, Dallas, TX

Developed architecture and instruction set for magnetic bubble memory (MBM) controller IC. Designed software for MBM and military systems. Designed various digital and analog test systems. Supervised various hardware/software task groups.

Design Engineer (Co-op) (1971 - 1972)
NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL

Assisted in design and evaluation of power supply subsystems for Skylab mission.
