Assignment:  Choosing an "area" of Research that you may someday wish to pursue.

 

1.  Identify a Research Topic in your area of concentration in Biology or Wildlife & Fisheries.

  • Once you have identified your area of possible future Research, construct a matrix using the Scientific Method that reflects your Experimental Design (examples).
  • Using the Experimental Design develop a PowerPoint presentation of your Experiment/Research (examples).

2.                 Print out the matrix and turn in to Dr. Cook on April 6, 2006.

 

3.                 Print out the PowerPoint presentation and turn in to Dr. Cook on April 6, 2006.

 

4.  Out-of-class Assignment:

Attend one (1) Seminar this Semester 

OR

Attend a special lecture on campus (to be announced)

·         Complete a Critique of Seminar using Seminar Evaluation Form.  Submit to Dr. Cook following completion.

Attend one (1) Cultural Event this Semester
