Stephen J. Robinson
Professor of Physics
As well as teaching classes I am involved in Physics Education Research, and am a Principle Investigator on the PET curriculum development project, in which we are developing an inquiry-based one-semester course for prospective and practicing elementary teachers. I got involved in this area of work after spending many years doing research in nuclear structure physics.
When I'm not teaching or working on the PET curriculum my passion is soccer.(Yes, I know it's really called football, but let's not go there!.) I am a past president of the Upper Cumberland Soccer Association and a referee instructor for the Tennessee State Soccer Association. I grew up watching Brighton and Hove Albion and thanks to the internet, am following them closely again.
