Course Material:

1. Manila folder (do not use any other type; used folders are available from professor)

Course Objectives:

1. To increase students’ knowledge of the literature of Great Britain;

2. To improve students’ ability to read literary texts efficiently and effectively;

3. To improve students’ written communication skills.

Some Course Policies:

1. Excessive unexcused absence and lateness to class may affect the course grade;

2. Submission of late work will affect the assignment grade;

3. Early departure from class should occur only for good cause and only after having discussed
    the 
need for the early departure with the professor before the beginning of class;

4. Avoid all forms of oral gratification (i. e., do not eat, drink, or chew) in class;
