Status: Visitor during fall (1 record); photograph (see link below).

Information on Records: 

19-24 October 2009 (1--basic adult) Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Barren County, Kentucky (David L. Roemer photo and m. ob. unpubl. data).

Habitat: Usually associated with gull flocks on larger lakes.
