18 October 2009 (1--winter adult) Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Barren County, Kentucky (David L. Roemer photo, photo, and unpubl. data).
Habitat: large lakes.
YardWatch Results 2003 and 2004: no registrations.
Remarks: Extremely difficult to separate from Ring-billed Gull (L. delawarensis); note placement of white spotting in primaries (see second photo above).
