    The course text, Diana Reep's Technical Writing: Principles, Strategies, and Readings (7th ed.), is referred to below as "Reep"; numbers refer to chapters in the text.  Short quizzes (5-10 minutes) may be given on the readings for any meeting day and will occur at the beginning of class; longer quizzes (20-30 minutes) may occur at the end of class on any day when a long writing assignment is not due.
