Course Objectives:
1. To increase students'
knowledge of proposal and grant writing;
2. To increase students'
ability to write clear, audience-friendly professional and
technical
documents.
3. To review major concepts relating to the
field of professional communication.
Some Course Policies:
1. Absence from, or tardiness in arriving to, class may negatively affect the course grade;
2. Submission of late work may negatively affect the assignment grade;
3. Early departure from class should occur only for good cause and only after
having
discussed the need for the early departure with the professor ahead
of time;
4. Avoid all forms of oral gratification.
5. Turn off cell phones, iPods, and computers during class.
