The Professional Communication Program was instituted in 1998 as an expansion of the Technical Communication Program, which had been in existence since 1986.  As of the Fall 2003 semester the PC Program was restructured, along with the English-Journalism Program, to become a concentration within a new B.S. degree in English Communication.  A few years later the PC Program was restructured yet again, and it is now a concentration within the B.A. English Program.       If you have an interest in professional communication, please contact the director of the PC Program, Dr. Kris Pickering.
