Rock Island State Park, located along a
beautiful rocky stretch of the
Caney Fork River in Middle
Tennessee. This view is looking upstream
towards Rock Island Dam.
An old friend Timothy Ray was visiting from Minnesota, and I
took the day off
to take him hiking. The plan was to visit Rock Island State Park, and then
head east
on Route 30 to Fall Creek Falls, and finally to meander back towards Rock Island
for dinner at the Foglight Foodhouse.
