The Ferndale Geyser, Ferndale, WA - July 2004
Among the scenic wonders of the Pacific Northwest, the Ferndale Geyser
unleashes it's
awesome fury every five to fifteen minutes, erupting cataclysmically
from a
distorted
iron fitting
encased within
a rusty stand-pipe venting
an abandoned coal mine, expelling
a
majestic arc of mineral-laden
water up to 8 feet long and 1/4" in diameter.
