100 cubic-foot downdraft natural draft gas car kiln,
built by Vince Pitelka in 1980. The kiln posts are Ferro Refractories silicon
carbide posts for "floating set." The ones I used are 20" tall, with
notches every 3". The bottom, center, and top shelves stay permanently in
place, while the others can slide in and out at any level.
