Clay Studio Equipment at the Appalachian Center for Craft

bulletClay Mixing Equipment
The clay-mixing room is equipped with a Soldner professional-model claymixer, an Estrin claymixer, a 4" Bluebird pugmill, a 4" Venco deairing pugmill, and a Bluebird hammermill for reducing bisqueware to grog.
bulletGlazing Equipment
The glaze room is equipped with two Amaco glaze pantry tables, an Amaco ball mill with a variety of milling jars, a large DeVilbiss industrial spraybooth, a twin-wand dust-extraction system over the glaze-mixing area, a variety of glaze spraying equipment, and large work tables.

 
bulletPottery Wheels
We have five Brent CXC, ten Axner 600, eleven CI ClayBoss, ten Shimpo RK-2, and six kick wheels. 
bulletSlab Rollers
The intro/throwing classroom and the intermediate/advanced classroom are each equipped with a 20" Brent slab roller.  
bulletExtruders
The classrooms are equipped with a 6" Brent extruder, and a 4" Scott Creek extruder with expansion box.
